Our Development Portfolio

Great Falls Construction has developed well over 100 commercial and residential units throughout Southern Maine. JCS Property Management is our property management company which works to meticulously maintain and steward our development portfolio. Our commitment to constructing and developing with a purpose permeates throughout our organization and remains at the core of everything we do. Whether it be in development or construction, we believe in the importance of community engagement and purposeful place-making in order to construct and steward the great buildings in and around Northern New England. Below are some examples of our recent development work.

This building location is highly visible from all angles at the prominent intersection of Main Street and New Portland Road in Gorham, Maine. Great Falls constructed the new building and four interior tenant fit-ups for Subway, Aroma Joes, 9 Round Fitness and Nail Xperts. Site work includes ample parking and drive through windows for Aroma Joes.

The Cookie Jar in South Portland, Maine

The Cookie Jar is a Maine institution best known for its delicious pastry treats on Shore Road in South Portland. After hearing of the treacherous storm that ripped the roof off of the Cookie Jar and the struggles to repair and reopen, Great Falls jumped in to assist. The family run business was a natural fit that aligned with Great Falls’ commitment to constructing with a purpose. The Cookie Jar reopened on May 27th, 2010. There is a long history to the Cookie Jar and we are happy to have helped it get back up and running and look forward to watching all of its continued success.
